The Story of the Mulberry Treehouse

Coming from a rural community on the Mediterranean coast instilled in me the value of family and nature. When I was a child, we would run outside and play with whatever we could find. Nature was our toybox along with our imaginations. Now that I am the mother of twin boys who are now 3 years old, they have the same wonder playing with open-ended wooden toys.

You might ask-Why The Mulberry Treehouse? As a child, my favorite place to play with my cousins was under a huge mulberry tree. We sat in its shade and dreamed of everything, big and small. When we got a little bit older, the tree became our sanctuary-climbing and hiding. That was my Mulberry Treehouse. I now share it with you.
